Misleading Online Businesses and Fees – How to Avoid Pitfalls

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service has been receiving a large number of applications prepared by online businesses recently.  These businesses charge users to complete their United States Citizenship and Immigration Service forms.  The amount these businesses charge for their services is often the same as the US Citizenship and Immigration Services application filing fee, leading some applicants to believe that this fee covers the USCIS fees also.  These fees in fact it only cover the service provided to prepare the application, not the application fee.  When forms are submitted without the proper fees, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services cannot process the applications.

It is free to download forms from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services website or by calling (800) 870-3676.
