U.S. Dedicates Consulate Compound in Dubai, U.A.E.

On November 21, 2011, the U.S. dedicated the new consulate compound in Dubai, UAE. Occupying a six-acre site in the heart of Dubai’s diplomatic enclave on the Dubai Creek, the new facility creates a secure, sustainable, and pleasant workplace for approximately 280 employees. The Department of State hopes that the Consulate Office Building, with multimedia center, increases U.S. interaction with the Emirati people.
