Wisconsin J-1 Waiver Program Continues to Accept Applications

As of mid-December, the Wisconsin J-1 Waiver Program has 27 J-1 waiver slots available.

The Wisconsin J-1 visa waiver program increases access to primary health and mental health care by helping to medical clinics recruit foreign physicians. Qualified foreign physicians must have completed their advanced clinical training in a U.S. residency training program, and must agree to work in the shortage area for three years. This program is coordinated with the U.S. Department of State and the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
