The Arizona Department of Health confirmed on January 6, 2012 that it had received 28 Conrad 30 applications through the end of December. The J-1 waiver program is now closed. The Arizona J-1 waiver program is expected to reopen in March for the remaining 2 slots and any additional slots made available if pending applications do not result in waiver recommendations.
The Arizona Bureau of Health Systems Development (HSD) supports a variety of programs and services meant to improve access to high quality primary health care, particularly for the uninsured and other vulnerable populations.
