Georgia Department of Community Health Accepting J-1 Waiver Applications

The Georgia Department of Community Health’s Conrad 30 J-1 Waiver program has received 2 waiver petitions since October 1, 2012.  The Georgia J-1 Waiver program will continue to  accept J-1 waiver applications on a rolling basis until all 30 slots are filled.

The Georgia J-1 Visa Waiver Program allows for a number of specialist applications annually. The 30 slots are divided into the following categories: Primary Care – 20: open to physicians who completed a residency program in internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, or psychiatry, and Specialist – 10: open to physicians who completed a residency program or fellowship in any specialty.
