New York Times: Obama Says He’ll Order Action to Aid Immigrants

The New York Times reports that President Obama has agreed to exercise his executive powers to finally enact sweeping changes to immigration reform without Congress. Immediate actions will include ordering a shift of enforcement resources toward the southern border, while future actions could be as major as granting work permits and protection from deportation to millions of immigrants now in the country.
