NBC News: Groups Beginning Work to Mobilize Latino Vote

NBC News reports that the Fair Immigration Reform Movement, a coalition of immigrant advocacy groups, is dividing political candidates from Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan and New York into “family uniters” v. “family dividers” in attempts to mobilize Latino voters for the midterm elections in November, defining “uniters” as those who support immigration reform to keep families together in the U.S. as they seek to become citizens, and “dividers” as those “who have embraced policies of deportations, family separations and other cruel and inhumane legislation.”
